Owners : John & Terri
We hope everyone has had a great season this last year and that your summer
is going well. We sure hope that we do not have a repeat of our winter
we had, because it sure was hard on the trees and very hard on our nerves.
Our summer is turning out to be a great growing season so far and
we hope that it continues. We hope to have a long growing season
going into the fall to help make up for the late spring. We got all
our additions up and running and now have 9 more acres of sales yard ready.
Our family is doing well and we had agreat fall and spring. Our sons
are involved now in produce more than ever. They are growing and selling
everything from strawberries in the spring to pumpkins in the fall.
John Adam will be returning to college this fall which he will be a junior
and he is home every weekend to help our and Lee-Allen has taken over more
of the spray programs and seeing to loading the frucks in the spring and
the orchard and the cattle. With all tat work they do make time for
hobbies (golfing, fishing, and coon hunting and bowling) and that is great
everyone needs to get away from the farm every once in a while. We
all work together and we still love each other at the end of the day but
there are days that we want to be way apart from each other and let out
the steam...Ha Ha!
John and all the crew have worked very hard this spring and summer and
by no means is the work over yet. We will have the bareroot and containers
available again for your fall and spring orders. We want to let everyone
know we love the lord and he comes first in all our lives. The Lord
has blessed all of our lives so much and we are very thankful for our health
and our family and the success we have had in our business. We want
to take this time to thank all our employees and also all our customers
for making Turner and Sons Nursery a success!
