Foerster's Feather Reed Grass
One of the best cool season grasses with vertical growth to 4' tall.
Always regains its upright posture even after heavy rains. The flowers
appear in June and look nice all summer and fall remaining attractive through
most of winter. Can be used as a hedge as it grows tall and upright.
Nice also in groupings for vertical effect. The seeds are sterile,
which, of course, means the plant will not self-seed. |

Revenna Grass, Plume Grass or Hardy Pampas Grass
In areas with cold winter, where Pampas Grass is not hardy enough to
survive, this is a great substitute. Although big, this plant is not invasive.
Great for screen or windbreak in golf courses, highways and many other
large-scale applications. Lush green 6-8' foliage with flower spikes reaching
5' above foliage. The more we grow this plant, the better we like
it's distinctive characteristics. |
